Um...OB?

Yup. That's funny. Last post almost 1 yr ago says I HATE OB/GYN (at Mercy - I suppose that makes quite a bit of difference). Now I am going into OB/GYN. Hum. Life is funny isn't it? Things you don't really expect to happen happen. Things you expect to happen do not. OB was never on my list of possible career choices. But there it is. Now that I've done ER, I think I could have gone into that as well. Too bad medical school fails at proper exposure to fields prior to making career choice. =/

Never thought there would be the lasting ZJL but there it is. Even without flowers. Or chocolates. Or cards. Very strange. Not that I don't complain all the time. But I got a Kindle which I'm sure will last much longer than flowers or chocolates (actually who knows...I hoard candy...).

And then there is that of which we should not speak of (AHH VOLDEMORT. jk). Happens, happens, happens. Oh well. Guess it makes sense when you really just look at it from an unbiased third party perspective. Don't know why my panties get into a bunch. They shouldn't. And you know what? They're less bunchy by the day. Which is a good thing I presume.

The xmas striped hooked shaped treat has been a constant presence lately, which is nice. :)

So many unexpected things. In life. And they just happen. And you can't stop them from happening. And you can't go back and change them once they've happened. So many 'ands'. If there's one thing that I've learned from ZJL, it's that bitching is okay, but once you've done it, there's no point in dragging it out. Don't beat a dead horse. You really just have to go from there and life...goes...on. Do the best you can with whatever you're given. And honestly, not all lemons turn into lemonade. Not even close. But I do think there often is a silver lining to the cloud. Enough idioms? No? Let us continue. Usually the crap that I obsess over is just a drop in the bucket.
